My name is John Case and I am the Technology Coordinator for Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in Ohio. We started our 1 to 1 program in 2005 and had great success. We are hoping to expand upon the successes we had last year, and have an even more successful program for the 2006-2007 school year.

I have been at Ohio Hi-Point since 2000, and have grown with this school. We had only about 150 or 200 computers when I started, and now we are around 1000 computers. We have started several satellite programs, so we now offer 21 classes off campus, and the list is growing.

I started this blog so that others who are starting a 1 to 1 laptop program could hear tales from people who are already doing 1 to 1 and hopefully you can take information from this site, and transform it to work in your environment.
